We currently have a number of bikes in the workshop undergoing re-commissioning to get them running and riding.
All bikes shown here are not owned by us but we have been commissioned to do the necessary work to get them to saleable condition for our client. PLEASE ENQUIRE - Sensible offers entertained.

Yamaha XT500 - 1980 - £6200
A rather respectable Yamaha XT500 from 1980 that has in its past undergone some restoration / recommissioning work.
It is not totally original as can be seen by the aftermarket exhaust, the clocks don't appear original but it all works.
It starts well, runs well and rides well.
Goes through all the gears perfectly.
We have replaced the air filter, plug lead & cap, contact breakers (points), timed it up, cleaned the petcock, ultra sounded the carb, new pilot jet and finally got it running sweetly.
Its still running the 6v electrics.

Honda XL185 - 1983 - £3650
A well presented 1983 Honda XL185s that has undergone substantial 'renovation' to get it to this condition.
Once into the workshop the bike required a lot of superficial work and now starts and runs well.
Fitted with an aftermarket carb (not OE)
Rebuilt wheels
New tyres
Strong engine compression
Good tank and side panels all resprayed
Lots of new parts.
A very good looking classic bike - awaiting DVLA registration as a historic vehicle making it MOT and Tax Exempt

Honda XL500s - 1981 - £5100
An stunning looking Honda XL500s that has undergone restoration.
Probably the best available in the UK right now.
The colour is exquisite, grey and black with a hint of purple in the right light.
Most of these sold in the northern hemisphere were block red, in South Africa and Australia they came in the colour you see here as well.
Imported directly from South Africa, this example has undergone a comprehensive restoration and although not perfect it is a lot better than other examples available in the UK right now.
It has required very little work once it arrived with us, mainly some wiring corrections and replacement of a few parts that were originally unobtainable by the original restorer.

BMW R100rs Motorsport Edition - 1979 - £13500

A very rare edition of the BMW R100rs and fully restored by its previous owner.
Probably the best available in the UK right now.
Imported from South Africa where it was restored by its former keeper. We have photographic documentation of the restoration and as much traceable history as to its authenticity as is possible with these machines. (There is no definitive list of frame numbers issued by the factory to say which ones are Motorsport).
The previous owner has confirmed its history.
